Fall Concert: Twelve Soloists in Harmony

As a response to recent events Front Gallery presents This exhibition came together spontaneously and easily, as there exists in Houston a rich and varied pool of talent. Moreover Houston has an amicable artistic community--always eager to work in unison for the sake of itself, or in this case for the sake of Hurricane Harvey victims. Front Gallery will donate revenue from this exhibition (and all shows throughout the season) to the Harvey Arts Relief Fund. Each of the twelve artists in this show is deeply invested in a distinct practice. If this grouping of work suggests any relationships, it does so unexpectedly. The differences that exist in this exhibition are as important as the similarities. The common thread amongst these artists is commitment. The Houston art community is a reflection of Houston as a whole--tenacious, unique, and very robust. We are thrilled to be presenting the work of 12 artists who demonstrate the great range of talent in Houston.
